Biographical Information

Reg Cox was born in Melbourne in 1946.

He studied advertising art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has worked professionally in this field since 1965.

In 1970 he developed a need to express himself in a more creative and personal form of art.

Watercolour, a difficult medium to handle successfully, provided Reg with a challenge and the means of expressing himself.

Reg Cox paints a wide range of subjects including landscapes, sea scapes, snowscapes, cityscapes, boat studies, farm scenes, etc., and has had considerable success, winning a number of awards and the praise of art collectors both in Australia and overseas,

He is a member of the Old Watercolour Club Society of London (Australian Branch) and the Victorian Artists Society.
