Biographical Information

French born Rene D'Herbois studied art in Paris and had arrived in Perth, Western Australia by 1916. He taught at Claremont Teachers' College in the early 1920s, and exhibited (apparently for the first time) with the newly formed University Art Club in 1929. His work depicted Western Australian forest and semi-rural areas in the south west. Edit or add to this biography
