Roderick Malcolm Shaw (1915-92) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in Sydney in 1915, Roderick Shaw studied at East Sydney Technical College and worked as a commercial artist prior to World War 11, when he became a camouflage artist. A member of the Contemporary Art Society from 1940 to 1948, he won first prize in the 1945 Australia at War exhibition. Shaw's works are represented in the Art Gallery of New South Wales and several provincial collections. He died in 1992. Edit or add to this biography
