Salvatore Zofrea (1946-.) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in Italy in 1946, Zofrea came to Australia as a child in 1956. He studied at the Julian Ashton School in Sydney and in 1971 made a study tour of Europe. He has had many successful one-man exhibitions and won the 1977 Sulman Prize. Zofrea's work is represented in the Australian National Gallery and several public collections.
