Biographical Information

Born in England in 1958, Steven Cox arrived in Australia in 1967. He studied painting at the Victorian College of the Arts. After winning a scholarship he travelled through England and Egypt in 1983. A painter and teacher, Cox uses his extensive library of criminology as a source of subject matter for his paintings which dwell on hostility and conflict. He has exhibited in Melbourne and Sydney since 1982. Edit or add to this biography
