Wendy Stokes (1957-.) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in New South Wales in 1957, Wendy Stokes gained a Graduate Diploma from the Sydney College of the Arts and a MFA from University New South Wales, College of Art & Design.

She has developed a strong practice across printmaking, painting and drawing having held over 30 solo exhibitions in prominent commercial metropolitan and regional galleries.

As the winner of a number of awards, her work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery NSW and many Regional and municipal art collections. She was awarded a residency at the UNSW Research Studio, Cite International des Arts, Paris in 2014. Edit or add to this biography
