Biographical Information

Allyson Parsons was born in rural South Australia in 1965.

She won her first major Art prize at the age of eighteen. Allyson Parsons has had no formal training, but has been guided by her mother Marie Parsons, herself an artist and former art teacher, and also been encouraged and assisted by David Dridan, and the late Ainslie Roberts. Andrew Wyeth, the internationally acclaimed American realist painter is Ally's mentor.

She works full time in her studio near Port Vincent, SA. and has participated in numerous exhibtions and also won many awards. Edit or add to this biography
