Biographical Information

Born Alex Williams in England in the 1870s, Alex Sass studied at the National Gallery of Victoria School. He exhibited with the Art Society of New South Wales and New South Wales Society of Artists. A well known cartoonist, he worked for Melbourne 'Punch' 'The Bulletin' and for the 'New York World'. He later became art editior for 'Smith's Weekly' Edit or add to this biography
