Biographical Information

Born in Adelaide in 1925, Bruce Swann is a self taught artist who painted in a semi-traditional style in oil, black and white, pen and wash. Interested in early Australiana, he wrote and published several books. Swann held solo exhibitions in Adelaide from 1971 and his work is represented in a number of institutional and corporate collections around the world, including the University of Adelaide, Buckingham Palace and Alfa Romeo in Italy.
