Biographical Information

Born in England in 1853, Richardson arrived in Australia with his parents in 1856. He studied art extensively in Victoria and in England, returning to Australia to paint with Tom Roberts and Frederick McCubbin. He took part in the 9x5 Exhibition in 1889. He is also known as a sculptor. Richardson's work is represented in the National Gallery of Victoria. He died in 1932. Edit or add to this biography
