Biographical Information

Born in New South Wales in 1952, David van Nunen is an abstract painter in acrylic and pastel, and a teacher. He studied in Newcastle, and travelled to New York and Paris on study trips. He has exhibited since 1974 in Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth, and has won a number of art awards. Van Nunen's work is represented in institutional collections such as Parliament House, Sydney, and private collections in Australia and overseas. Edit or add to this biography
