Biographical Information

A Western Australian artist, Ted Snell was born in 1949. He studied art teaching extensively in Perth and in the United Kingdom. A painter, writer and film producer, he was appointed a lecturer in art at Curtin University in Perth in 1982. He has also been art critic for the print and radio media. Snell has held solo exhibitions of his paintings since 1968. He has won several awards and his work is represented in the Australian National Gallery and Art Gallery of Western Australia.
