Biographical Information

Born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1844, Edith Swainson was a painter and lithographer. In 1863 she married AWF Halcombe, and painted in her married name. She exhibited in Wellington and Auckland. She died in 1903. Her work is represented in major public collections. Edit or add to this biography
