Biographical Information

Born in Adelaide in 1912, Elizabeth Skottowe studied at the South Australian School of Art. An illustrator and writer of children's books and poems, she started working as an illustrator in Adelaide in the 1930s. In 1935 she moved to England and began publishing her children's books there from 1952. Skottowe remained in England and died in 1970. Edit or add to this biography
