Biographical Information

Born in Adelaide in 1888, Flora Landells studied at Perth Technical College. A painter, potter, china painter and teacher, she exhibited with the Western Australian Society of Arts. She painted oils on canvas, watercolour on paper, and also on china and clay. In 1913 she married Reginald Landells, who helped her set up a pottery. Flora became Western Australia's first studio potter. Flora Landells died in 1981. Her work is represented in the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Edit or add to this biography
