Alan Moore (1914-2015) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in Melbourne on 1 August 1914, Alan Moore studied at the National Gallery School in Melbourne and in Sydney under J S Watkins. A teacher of painting at Swinburne College, Moore served as an official war artist during World War II. He won several provincial awards and his work is represented in the Victorian state gallery.
