Gladys Mary Owen (1889-1960) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in Sydney in 1889, Owen studied in Sydney under Dattilo Rubbo and Gerald Fitzgerald and later at the Grosvenor School in London. She was a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute and her works are represented in several New South Wales public collections. Gladys Owen died in 1960. A retrospective exhibition of her work was held at the Mitchell Library in 1977. Edit or add to this biography
