Biographical Information

Born in Hobart in 1913, Alan McIntyre studied in Hobart. An art critic, painter and teacher, he has exhibited his work in several Australian cities and in London. He was a lecturer in Launceston for some years and art critic for the Launceston 'Examiner' and Sydney 'Bulletin'. His work is represented in the National Art Gallery and state galleries of Tasmania and Queensland Edit or add to this biography
