Biographical Information

Born in New Zealand in 1883, Collins studied briefly in New Zealand and qualified as an art teacher in England prior to his arrival in Australia in 1905. He taught in New South Wales secondary schools until 1915 when he joined the firm of Smith and Julius. Principally a landscape painter, he also conducted a children's radio programme until his death in Sydney in 1951. Edit or add to this biography
