Biographical Information

Born in Perth in 1927, Baily studied at the South Australian School of Art, at the Adelaide Teachers' College and at Columbia University in New York. He has held many public positions, including director of the Art Gallery of South Australia, president of the Contemporary Arts Society and is a Fellow of the Royal South Australian Society of Artists.
