J. Llewellyn Jones (1870-1927) Australia

Biographical Information

A Melbourne artist born in 1870, Llewellyn Jones studied at the National Gallery School. He was an early member of the Australian Watercolour Institute and is known to have spent some time with Frederick McCubbin and Tom Roberts at the Eaglemont Camp. His works are represented in the collection of the Art Gallery of New South Wales. He died in December 1927. Edit or add to this biography
