J. Webster Lawson (1855-1941) Australia

Biographical Information

A painter and sculptor, J Webster Lawson was born in England in 1855 and studied in London and Paris before arriving in Melbourne in 1895. He designed theatre sets for J C Williamson, opened an art school and for 30 years taught at Victorian technical colleges. He died in 1941. Edit or add to this biography
