Biographical Information

Born in 1944, Jim Paterson is a painter, printmaker and sculptor. He studied in Melbourne and has exhibited in the eastern capital cities since 1975. He is best known for his large monochromatic, frontal studies of heads. Paterson has won several awards and his work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia, Parliament House and the state galleries in Melbourne and Perth. Edit or add to this biography
