Janet Spark (1859-1950) Australia

Biographical Information

Janet Spark was born in 1859. Nothing is known of her early life until 1914 when she won prize for crayon drawing in Traralgon Show. In June 1917 a painting by her was for sale with proceeds to go to YMCA. During First World War she did volunteer work for the Red Cross and her son was a lieutenant with 8th Battalion.

She died in Canterbury, Victoria 27 May 1950 at age 91 and was cremated at Springvale Memorial Gardens. Edit or add to this biography
