Biographical Information

Born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales in 1943, Makin studied at the East Sydney Technical College where he later taught. In 1972 he became art critic for the Melbourne 'Sun' following a period as a teacher at Prahran Technical College. A painter and printmaker he has exhibited throughout Australia and is represented in several state and regionsl collections. As a printmaker he is director of Port Jackson Press Edit or add to this biography
