Biographical Information

Born in Sydney in 1892, Eldershaw studied painting in Sydney, London and Paris. He is best known for his watercolours of representational landscapes. He travelled extensively around Australia and lived in Tasmania for 20 years. His work is represented in several state galleries and in the British Museum. He died in 1973.
