Biographical Information

A painter and printmaker, Jon Cattapan was born in Melbourne in 1956. He studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and travelled extensively through Europe and USA. He has exhibited widely since 1983 in Australia and overseas. The winner of several art awards, Cattapan's work is represented in the Australian National Gallery, state galleries of New South Wales and Victoria, New Parliament House, Canberra and in various institutional and private collections.
