Biographical Information

Born in Budapest in 1932, Joseph Szabo arrived in Australia in 1950. He studied at the National Art School in Sydney and worked as a commercial potter. A painter, teacher and ceramicist, he exhibited his paintings from 1962. He also taught with Jon Molvig in Brisbane and at the Mary White School and Bakery School in Sydney. Szabo died in 1984. His work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia. Edit or add to this biography
