Biographical Information

Born in Tasmania in 1875, Connor studied in Hobart. He was one of the first Tasmanian artists to break away from the traditional painting style of the period. A watercolourist, he exhibited widely in Australia and at the Royal Academy in 1928, the Imperial Art Gallery, London, and at the Old Salon in Paris. Connor's works are represented in the Victorian and Tasmanian state collections. He died in 1954. Edit or add to this biography
