Kim Polomka (1951-.) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in South Australia in 1951, Kim Polomka studied fine art in Adelaide.

Known for his surrealist landscapes, mostly in watercolour, he has exhibited widely since 1974. Polomka has lectured at the Royal South Australian Society of Arts.

Kim Polomka has won numerous Art awards both in Australia and overseas. His last one man show was in 1998 at Sam Hill Smith Galleries.

He then moved to the USA, where his interest in public art really developed. He finished the largest outdoor mural 13.7m x 91.4in 2011 in Colorado Springs, CO USA.

His paintings have won awards in the USA, whilst three of his murals received City recognition. Edit or add to this biography
