Biographical Information

Born in England in 1891, Mary Packer Harris studied at the Edinburgh College of Art. She arrived in Australia in the early 1920s and spent over 30 years as art mistress at the South Australian School of Arts and Crafts. She is best known for her watercolour landscapes. Her works are represented in the Art Gallery of South Australia. She died in 1978. Edit or add to this biography
