Biographical Information

Born in Melbourne in 1930, Matcham Skipper became a sculptor and a jewellery and craft metalwork designer. He grew up under the influence of the art colony founded by Justus Jorgensen at Montsalvat in Melbourne, learning various crafts including mediaeval jewellery making. Skipper has won several awards and his work is represented in the Victorian and Western Australian state galleries, as well as Victorian tertiary collections. Edit or add to this biography
