Michael Eaton (1937-.) New Zealand

Biographical Information

Born in 1937, Michael Eaton graduated from the Canterbury School of Fine Art in 1958, and and was an original member of 20/20 Vision, set up for the promotion of Conemporary Art.

He became Senior Lecturer in Art Education at Christchurch College from 1967 to 1987.

He has exhibited widely in New Zealand and overseas, either solely or jointly with artists such as Colin McCahon and Ralph Hotere.

In 1970, through an Artist Council Fellowship he was able to travel USA, UK and Europe. Edit or add to this biography
