Biographical Information

Born in the UK in 1944, Michael Piper is a self taught artist who arrived in Australia in 1970.

He painted miniature Australian landscapes and seascapes in oil until about 1980, and thereafter concentrated on painting Australian wildlife in oils, specialising in birds.His work is represented in private collections in Australia, Japan,America and UK.

He is listed in the following artists directories: Max Germaine 'Artists and Galleries of Australia' volumes 1&2 third edition Craftmans press Sydney 1990. Page 550. Edit or add to this biography
