Paul Partos (1943-2002) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in Czechoslovakia in 1943, Paul Partos arrived in Australia in 1950. He studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He participated in several group exhibitions and held his first one-man show in Melbourne in 1965. He lived in Europe and the US at various stages until 1972, when he became a lecturer at the Victorian College of Arts. His works are represented in the National Gallery of Victoria and in the National Collection, Canberra. He died in 2002. Edit or add to this biography
