Biographical Information

As a teenager Penelope Richardson began designing and screen-printing theatre posters at “Shopfront Theatre” and later taught screen-printing and mural painting at "Garage Graphix", Sydney.

Her first solo exhibtion was ‘Body into Landscape into Body’ at Gallery X, in Sydney, and since then has a number of solo exhibtitons in Melbourne, Sydney, Munich and Bogota Columbia.

In 2008 she moved to Germany, and now lives and works in Munich.

Since the 1990?s she has been experimenting and integrating digital print techniques in her work such as in her exhibitions "Confess", Counihan Gallery and "Überwelt" at Dianne Tanzer Gallery, Melbourne.

Since moving to Munich, Richardson has been working regularly in the Steindruck München, a workshop for stone lithography, as well as receiving a studio assistance grant from the city of Munich. Edit or add to this biography
