Biographical Information

Peter Longhurst, a watercolour painter of Australian flora and fauna was born in Birmingham, UK, in 1922, and arrived in Australia in 1967.

He has held a number of solo shows in Sydney and London.

He paints mainly on commission for calendar and greeting card designs. Two of his bird of paradise drawings were selected by UNICEF, New York, for the 1978 greeting card range.
