Biographical Information

An Englishman born in 1824, Francis Barraud was brother of artist Charles D Barraud. He visited New Zealand in 1842 on the 'Northfleet'. His watercolours were exhibited with the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts from 1889 to 1897. Barraud died in 1900. His work is represented in the Turnbull Library Edit or add to this biography
