Alan Douglas Baker (1914-87) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in New South Wales in 1914, Baker is best known for still life and floral subjects. He was a teacher of life drawing at the J.S. Watkins School in Sydney prior to World War II and a council member of the Royal Art Society of New South Wales. His works are represented in the National Collection in Canberra.
