Born in 1838, Henry Rawson was a New Zealand based landscape painter and engraver, who was a professional dentist as well as a hospital Sergeant in the Rifle Volunteers in the New Zealand Wars.
He is represented in the Hocken, Taranake Museum and Te Papa.
