Biographical Information

Born in Fremantle, Western Australia in 1903, Percy Hunt was known for his figurative watercolours - often of waterfront subjects. He studied in Perth, London and Paris, and spent three years working as a commercial artist in Singapore before returning to Perth in 1938 to teach at Perth Technical College. He won a number of art awards and his work is represented in the Art Gallery of Western Australia and institiutional collections. Percy Hunt died in 1971. Edit or add to this biography
