Biographical Information

Born in England in 1927, Phillip Martin started painting after three years in naval service. He married artist Helen Marshall, and they moved to Australia in 1969. A painter in oil, acrylic, enamel and collage, Martin has exhibited since 1951, his first Australian solo show being in Sydney in 1985.
