Rose Margaret Zeller (1891-1975) New Zealand

Biographical Information

Born in Christchurch in 1891, Rose Zeller studied at the Canterbury School of Art. She began teaching there in 1912 until taking up a teaching appointment at Dunedin Technical College. In the early 1930s Zeller returned to Christchurch where she continued teaching and exhibiting her work until her retirement in the mid-1950s. Zeller died in 1975. Her work is represented in the Hocken Library and McDougall Art Gallery. Edit or add to this biography
