Biographical Information

Born in Sydney in 1922, Fullbrook has spent much of his life working and painting in an Aboriginal cooperative establishment in north-western Australia. He combines a sensitive use of colour with simple and often dramatic concepts to portray the Aboriginal lifestyle and environment. He was awarded the Archibald Prize for 1975. His works are represented in several state and provincial galleries. He died in 2004. Edit or add to this biography
