Biographical Information

Born in Victoria in 1880, Dyson studied at the National Gallery School and under George Coates. He is best known as a caricaturist and cartoonist, having contributed to Melbourne 'Punch' ' the 'Clarion' 'Table Talk' Adelaide's 'Gadfly' and the 'Bulletin'. In 1910 he married Ruby Lindsay and moved to London where he worked for the 'Weekly Despatch'. He was appointed official war artist in 1916 and returned to Australia in 1926 but stayed only five years. He died in London in 1938 Edit or add to this biography
