Biographical Information

Born in Sydney in 1922, Bette Hays studied at the East Sydney Technical College under Frank Norton, Douglas Dundas, Jean Bellette, Alfred Cook and Roland Wakelin. She lived in Papua New Guinea for a number of years and taught at Townsville Grammar School for some time. She has exhibited in most capital cities in Australia as well as in London. Her work is represented in many private collections in Australia and overseas. Edit or add to this biography
