Cedric D. Savage (1901-69) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in New Zealand in 1901, Savage studied sculpture and painting in New Zealand (and designed the Parliament buildings in Wellington) before moving to Australia. He later went to live in Spain where he was given honorary Spanish citizenship. He returned to New Zealand in 1946, but travelled overseas again from 1955 until his death in 1969 in Spain.
