Biographical Information

Charles Anderson was born in Melbourne in 1961. After graduating from Melbourne University with Honours in English Literature and Language, he decided to paint rather than write. In the mid 1980s he was coordinator for ROAR studios, then travelled through Europe and the USA. An abstract painter, working mostly in oils, Anderson held his first one man show in Melbourne in 1986. His work is represented in the Australian National Gallery, Canberra, the National Gallery of Victoria, and in corporate, institutional and private collections. Edit or add to this biography
