Biographical Information

Born in oatley, NSW in 1953, During high school she decided upon a career in art. She studied at the East Sydney Technical School (ESTS) for a Diploma of Painting and then turned to photography.

During the 1980’s her work evolved by using a diverse range of art forms including sculpture, painting, installation design and video.

Best known for her photographs of assemblages. Hall has exhibited widely. Her work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia and the state galleries in Adelaide and Melbourne, as well as institutional and public collections, and she exhibits regularly nationally and internationally.
