George Lacy (c1816-1878?) Australia

Biographical Information

Born about 1816 George Lacy arrived in Australia from London in 1842. A painter, illustrator and journalist, he lived in the Victorian goldfields and later in New South Wales. He wrote and illustrated articles for the 'Illustrated Sydney News'. His works are represented in several public collections. He died in the 1884 Edit or add to this biography
